Is it Really 70 degrees outside?

Yes, for those of my readers who do not live in the South, it is 70 degrees outside here in Nashvegas. I knew that there was something that I was going to like about living here. It seems as though spring has arrived, while my New England friends are in the teens. Sure, I miss the Red Sox and Mike's Pastries, but you gotta love the trade-off.

Life continues to go by swiftly and surely for our family. We find ourselves making trips to the zoo, Ella loves the animals, swimming at the community center (okay, we've only done it once, but we loved it!), looking for a new car (although we are proud that we made it for 6 years with only 1 car), and a daycare for the little one. We are making a trip next weekend to the Heartland. Pat-Pat and PaPa are excited to show the little one off to their Muncie friends, and we are excited to perhaps be the recipients of some FREE babysitting!

As always, I love to share a little Ella story: Ella has reached the stage where she likes to mimic our actions. Last Sunday morning, we had a little extra time before church, so we sat down at the table for breakfast, and read some of the Sunday newspaper. When Ella had finished her breakfast, she immediately pointed to pieces of the paper that were strewn about the table. I put a Toys 'R Us ad on her high chair, and she proceeded to flip through, look at all of toys, and point out interesting ones to me. After about 5 minutes, she finished with that ad, handed it to me, and asked for another. Amazing, isn't she?
